ShopVision AI, Design Direction, Design System & Web Design, 2024

Shopvision AI, a Canada-based B2B market intelligence startup, brought me on to define a new visual language that highlights the novelty of their offering. The only requirement was to keep their existing logo unchanged.

With that in mind, I defined both the appearance and application of the design elements, creating a look that feels young yet sophisticated.

I designed ShopVision's new website and built a lean, flexible style, variable, and component library that is easily transferrable to their web-based tool.
I initially presented two distinct design directions: Direction A being bold and less expected, Direction B safer and familiar. ShopVision chose the daring approach—Direction A—as it best reflected their identity as a disruptive yet sophisticated AI startup.

Wireframes to determine the content arrangement and navigation structure
Shopvision wanted to integrate as much of the new visual language as possible into their product. To support this, I created a style, variable, and component library that could be applied seamlessly across both their marketing website and web platform.
“We wanted a unique look for our brand that truly reflected our ethos as an AI agent, while also differentiating us from the sea of standard B2B SaaS websites.

Niklas did an incredible job bringing our vision to life. His ability to adapt and refine the designs based on our feedback made the entire process smooth and collaborative. He was a pleasure to work with, going above and beyond the original project scope. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-tier designer who brings both creativity and strategic thinking to the table.”

The early stages of product development are where I thrive most, turning uncertainty into well-designed, scalable solutions.

I work with companies across industries—from banking to streaming—at every stage of the product lifecycle, whether it’s building products from the ground up, maintaining and improving existing systems, or refining solutions through deep user research.
